How Sharp is the knife in your PSK???(Very graphic)!!!!!

I'll be a man and admit it......

I screamed like a little girl when I scrolled down.

There I said it.

Gooooh, thats nasty. It's prolly a good thing that I didn't realize that was a huge gash in your leg at first. I just sat here and was trying to figure what it was then bam, Oh my gosh! Glad your ok. Have your picked up the "evil" knife yet or are you still buildng up courage?

I'm ordering a Bravo 1 setup this week! Thats pretty graphic but I've seen some pretty messed up stuff from EMT courses. Get well soon!

Nice one :D!!! that will leave a good mark.
I find its the week after you cut your self it really hurts

I had a very similar wound to my left calf once.I regret not getting it stitched as it scared.Speedy recovery my friend.

I'm wondering if the forum would greet a similar injury from an accidentally discharged firearm with such a 'chicks dig scars' cavilier attitude?

Dang. Luckily you didn't cut into anything else, huh?

I'd wager there would be quite a few more "Wow you're stupid... but lucky." type posts, followed by the "chick dig scars" and "now you get a good story" comments.

Barkies are sharper than you think they are!

Hope you heal quickly and well!

I avoided opening this thread for a while, but I just had to see.
I was a little afraid of my fox river, I think I could shave my face with it, but now
I am almost scared to pick it up!:D

:D I can treat you and your condition, mail me the Foxriver asap....I will rid your fear of being cut by a BRK&T blade.....

thanks for the pics - good reminder to always be careful and remember to check whether your body is in the same direction as the blade is traveling.

convex blades have to be given an extra measure of respect IMHO due to their optimal cutting/chopping profile. the convex grind offers little resistance to the material it moves through and will travel farther than one might expect - or right on through the material and keep on traveling. the convex chopper i have is a little scary in that respect - nice that it won't bind up when chopping but that also means it'll go right through something without stopping.

glad you're ok and hoping you heal up real quick!

Cmgray,

Make yourself a favor, never, never use a chainsaw. I hope you will recover quickly.
