I just received a orange Spyderco Military in the mail I bought from Ebay...I'm pretty sure it's FAKE and I should of knew better !!! but anyhoo I contacted the seller telling him the knife maybe a fake, his response was " If your not happy with the knife you can return for a full refund " which is a good thing !!! But should I take any other actions, like contacting Ebay or Spyderco or should I just get my money back and chalk it up as a learning experience...:grumpy:
 
I don't own a Millie but I'd want to see the stamp of a legit one for comparison. That stamp does seem off-center and squeezed in there.

You should post this in the Spyderco sub-forum.
 
I'm no expert on spotting fakes but the stamps look off. I'd take pics. Document everything. Same emails. Same addresses and contact info. Send it back for a full refund. THEN contact spyderco.
 
Looks a fake. The etching of "Golden Colorado, U.S.A Earth" is off a little too much and the back spacer should be black like this

Perhaps it's a Military with custom back spacer.

Perhaps it's the lighting but if that knife the OP posted photos of is supposed the be an orange Military it doesn't look orange to me. As far as the markings go I've got my orange Millie in my hand and it all looks legit to me and I bought mine directly from Jeff at CS when these came out. If the color difference is just due to lighting then the only issue I see is the color of the back spacer.

They haven't made orange for a long time now and they bring a premium price. eBay is suddenly flooded with them at lower prices?
 
A lot of the ones I see on the auction site have the wrong color pocket clip. At least I'm not aware that this limited run was made with more than one color of clip, maybe it was?

There hasn't been any orange around for about 3 or 4 years. Of course he knew, ordered it straight from Aliexpress you can bet on that. He has little choice but to let you return it, with the way eBay operates.
