How tough is infi?

The knife that bent was infi. Not sr101.

And you are dead wrong on bark rivers tested more than swamp rat.

Chop a car in half with you bark river and get back to me. You should read more and educate yourself because right now you look foolish. You don't know enough about what your talking about, I'm not trying to be mean, that's the truth.
Why is being able to chop a car in half with a knife better in the first place? If a knife can do that it’s bad edge geometry for everything else besides chopping a car in half lol

And pounding a knife in a tree and applying weight is more practical? You started this by claiming bark river is tougher than busse. Which is a joke.

So far you've been wrong about everything you've said. And you are derailing an old thread with your bark river garbage.

Start a new thread with you opinion that bark river is tougher. Good luck.

That’s what I was talking about. I’m definitely biased in that. I like knives that can chop and baton good and that can make feather sticks. Anything more then that your losing what a knife is imo. And your biased as well cause you’d rather your knife be able to chop a car in half with no damage. But at the sacrifice of not being what I do with my knives as good. So where never going to come to an agreement on this. We both expect different things from a knife.

It would come down to the geometry man. A convex is 100% stronger thats not arguably. And I’m bringing up bark river cause fallkniven has vg1 with cos core. The cos will sharpen about the same as sr101 with much better edge retention. But it’s not as strong as A2 or 52100 that’s why they have the laminated with convex. If my s1 pro was made of 52100 it would be stonger then the swamp rat imo.

You have know idea what I expect from a knife. How my tastes have evolved over the last almost 6 years and what current knives I have that I keep for optimal geometry in slicing.

Guy, your wrong again. This convex argument comes up constantly through the years. Your ignorance isn't amusing. Educate yourself. I'm closing my thread. Thanks for polluting it with misinformation and bull crap.

You know what. Lmk what they say about your swamp rat. If they fix it no questions asked. I will test a bark river vs a swamprat and see what brakes first. I’ll video it with pictures cause now I’m interested to see. It’ll be completely fair in the testing. A honest head to head in a couple different test. Then a destination test at the edge with lateral force on the blade.

lol a convex is weaker now? And you telling me to educate myself?

For the last time, the knife in the OP is INFI.

A convex can be made more obtuse or thinner than a v grind. That is a fact. Being convex doesn't necessarily mean squat, genius.
