hundred pacer who got one whos getting one...

We just had some arrive at the store today and I came away really impressed with the execution of it, felt really nice in hand and all the fit and finish was dialed in.

This is on my to try list. I really like the pointy up-swept tip and the overall look. I have to hold it first though before I'm sure it'll work for me.

I think it looks great though!

Checked out one of these today. Great fit and finish...but still can't warm up to the design. Takes up a ton of pocket

I really want one but they are way overpriced IMO. You can get several knives of the same size or larger, with the same materials and a stronger lock, for half the street price or less. I'll just have to wait and get it on clearance when it's discontinued for a more realistic price.

I have one and I dig it. Slim profile in the pocket and I love the wire clip. The knife may have a polarizing look but it is very comfortable in hand and a great slicer. Opens great via Spydie flick too. Cheers.

ive been using and carrying mine for awhile. the grip shape is incredible. it slices so well and the bigger blade makes it a great user. in a futire version of it..... id like to see it stay long but squished down a bit...its pretty wide. also not a fan of the wire clip. thick liners wouldnt bother me at all. all that aside its a better knife as is than most will realize until they use it.

There are 2 at my local shop that they can't seem to give away
its the persian style and wideness of it. visually its a niche at best. use wise i doubt anyone would cringe while cutting anything with it in hand.

I actively trying to figure out what to sell to fund one..... The width of the handle is the only thing giving me pause, how does it carry?

fills the pocket but it isnt thick per say just wide. i carry lots in my pockets and hasnt caused me any issues but im okay with big, wide and thick folders. many arent. it aint real heavy but im okay with heavy folders as well.

Thank you JB! That is a perfect description and fantastic pictures. I'm afraid it might be too big for me but damn, that is a fantastic looking knife.

yeah its not for everyone....could be for more if squashed down width wise...which is what im hoping for in a second version...rather than typical knife maker move we'll just make a mini for those living in oppressive knife states, cities, and countries.....but sales are sales...so i get it.

good news is spyderco makes something for just about everyone.....big, short, wide, heavy, light.....its nice to have lots of options.

Width wise, I'm thinking ZT 300, which was just a bit too big for EDC for me.

This Spyderco looks like a back pocket carry, cargo, carpenter pants type of carry. Knowing how big it appears to be, I'm still interested. I love some of the off beat Spyderco designs and this one is just bad ass.

That’s exactly how I feel about this model. It’s one that I’m eventually going to have to own just to own it because it looks so cool.

If it wasn't for the chronic question of does it fit my budget (saving for the Lum tanto folder ;)), the question of does it fit my pocket never stops me from going for a knife that has so much going for it. This one does, for me! I'd find a way to carry it, although not when I'm in the office. More for field work, camping, other outdoor activities. I like this more than any other "persian" type blade spyderco has done, I like the handle shape, texture, and colors, and I like the steel choice. On my want list :)

I completely agree. This knife is NOT for me but I own and love some of Spyderco's other really divisive models. I'm kind of glad this was made, even though I don't like it, just on that principle.

I liked this knife from the minute I first saw it. I think these quirky, unique knives that Spyderco does are cool. I probably won't buy one because of the size but still a sweet design
