LOL!!! Never trust anyone who claims not to be a russian...it is probably a russian who can't stop lying!

A few years back that was a story about a guy who killed a Grizzly with a Buck 110. I believe it was in Outdoor Life magazine.

I thought all you Americans had the right to bear arms?Get your knife and go get them.Don't get shown up by the Ruskies.:p

Of course here in Canada we kill bears a bit differently.I used a Pad of 0000 steel wool, a tea light and a Fallout Tactics:Brotherhood of Steel Strategy guide. The technique is so secret I forget how I do it till I remember again.:D

If the planets are right anything can be killed by anyone with almost anything...Could I kill a bear with a 110 or sharpened stick...or a .22 rifle maybe if I lucked out and he didn't...but the odds are largely stacked in the favor of the bear..I could not wear my seat betl and survive a horrible accident, but it doesn't mean I should...

The turtle was left there dead-for no reason except that it happend to be in the wrong spot and the wrong time. Russian logic?

This isn't typical for russians. Unethical and violent behaviour towards animals without any respect for life is only typical for primitive idiots, and I have found or heard about this kind of behaviour in every country around the globe.
Some people start as kids to mutilate newts or frogs, sticking a straw in their asses and blowing them up or torturing them with a lighter.
When I was very young, I ripped out the wings of a living fly - my mom hit me in the face for that. It kept me from harming animals until I was old enough to have compassion for other creatures. Kids don't know what they're doing until a certain age.

the russians have allways been crazy

another thing i heard about recently is that they are reenactment fighting viking style

with live blades!

and i dont mean pusy reenactment with choregraphed moves like they do in hollywood, but a style similar like martial arts sparring with held back blows
like this:

Thanks nephildevil, but that's not what this forum is about. Let's try to keep the thread discussion on track - hunting bears with a knife.

You know, those Russians are full of the brown stuff, I'm afraid.

Elen, I love reading your posts! :D ROTFLMAO!

This thread suffers from stupidity.

okay, lets give the russians a break

americans can be just as mad, here is some history :) :

Hampton grew up in a wealthy family, receiving private instruction. He had an active outdoor life, riding horses and hunting. He was known for taking hunting trips alone into the woods, hunting bears with only a knife. Some accounts credit him with killing as many as 80 bears. In 1836 he graduated from South Carolina College (now the University of South Carolina), and was trained for the law, although he never practiced. He devoted himself, instead, to the management of his great plantations in South Carolina and Mississippi,[1] and took part in state politics. He was elected to the South Carolina General Assembly in 1852 and served as a Senator from 1858 to 1861. Hampton's father died in 1858 and the son inherited a vast fortune, the plantations, and one of the largest collections of slaves in the South.
