Since Knifecenter has them in stock, what was the benefit of pre-ordering one, other than not getting it as soon? :confused:
I presume the price is the same either way.

Beats me, but I've been planning on nine months wait since I preordered and now my wallet and I are sweatin' a bit:o
 
I just spoke to someone at knifecenter... they are out of them. 4-6 week estimated timeframe for next delivery...

Has anyone else run across them actually in stock?

I figured that about knifecenter..shows/ed they have "20" in stock. I almost pulled the trigger, but I had a feeling theyd be on back order.

I pulled the trigger last night, just called to confirm my order, and it will be shipping this afternoon! Woot Woot!
 
Mine should come in today. I hope I'll have a surprise when I get home.

Thanks a lot for starting this thread Folks. I'm now $445 poorer! Funny thing is I made several calls with no luck. I found a dealer with them but the salesman actually got in trouble with the proprietor while I was on the phone. He had already began selling me one when he was informed that the 25s were for sale ONLY in the store, not to Internet customers! He sold me one anyway!! BOO-YA!
