Hype vs. Honesty

I'd say you'll never get that H1 to rust, MacTech. Don't think it actually can. How's H1 to sharpen, by the way?

H-1 has to be the *easiest* steel i've ever sharpened, and it takes a *killer* edge to boot, it may not hold it as long as AUS-8 or VG-10, but it's so simple and easy to bring it back up, a few swipes on the white Sharpmaker stones and it's back to an almost Monomolecular sharpness.....

I have to share a special word that I got from a friend of mine, instead of under whelmed you can use “craptacular”. Also I wonder if I can market a tactical lawnmower blade.:D

I love it!:D I really loved how you called "somebody" (read as a "nobody") out about his own background, over in "his kingdom", a while back! That was great!

As far as the "tactical lawnmower blade" goes, why not go for "tactical dental floss" instead? http://www.coldsteel.com/92hc.html Beat 'em to the punch!;)

Regards,
3G

P.S.

On the page I linked above, there is the following, special notice : "This website is based in California. Because the Honey Comb is illegal for sale in California, we are offering it for sale from our Texas office. Orders for other items on this website must be processed out of our California office. Shipping charges, sales tax and other charges, incurred on this site are not transferable to items purchased from our Texas office. In simpler terms, consider an order for a Honey Comb as an order placed at another, entirely separate, company."

I fail to understand why they ask people to consider it a "seperate company" when they plainly say "our Texas office"? In my opinion, that seems dishonest. I was under the impression they were honest and forthcoming by suggesting in their add copy that consumers not buy knives from dishonest people.:jerkit:

Give me a friggn' break. You will look under any rock just to find something to bitch about with regard to LT and CS.

Why is it to be treated like a different company? Simple- customers have tried to order items from both sites (CA ad TX) on the same invoice. That cannot be done since the CA office cannot show those illegal items on their invoices. Those items are illegal to possess in CA- not ship, POSSESS. So, showing it on an outgoing invoice from CA might cause some legal issues with CS.

There. Does that make sense to you, or are you just so into the LT hatred that you'll assume everything done at CS is conspiritorial and out to get you?

As for the "more info" BS argument you keep posting- already did it. Check the chronology, quite trying to make ME out to be a liar as well, and just drop it for god's sake. Must you keep ressurecting this thread? Do you lie awake at night and think of me? Are you wondering what I am doing? Are you wearing pants when you think of me?

...ewwww...

The posts of yours I quoted, a few pages back, tell the story. I won't "drop it" until you either provide the info you stated you would, about "other manufacturers", or admit that you don't have any.:)

Have a nice day,

Cold Steel had some good knives, I am a bit disappointed in the direction of the company with not getting a new source of Carbon V rather then changing it to AUS8A and making it way more expensive or using another "mystery steel" and taking quality in another direction. I used to really enjoy their knives and more so their more "eccentric" products. I don't know if I am so thrilled by them as I once was. I'm interested in some of their new machetes and I might check out their fighters line, I am just not as enthusiastic about their products as I once was.

So, all one has to do on BF to get a huge thread started that sounds like women arguing about soap opera characters is mention anything, good or bad, abort Cold Steel or Lynn Thompson. Thanks.:)
