Hypothetical - you can only purchase from ONE MANUFACTURER!!! Which would you pick?

I'd be well covered by ESEE. I haven't bought a folder in I don't know how long, so I'm not worried about buying another one any time soon.

Gonna go with Buck too. Made in the USA , great value, and I already own more or these than any other brand of knife. The first knife I ever wanted was a 110 and haven't been disappointed by any of their products yet.

It's really a toss up between Kershaw and Buck for me, mostly down to value and variety. Sticking to the rules though, I'd say Kershaw.

Spyderco, though it barely beats out Kershaw. I love love love Kershaw's folders but they have few fixed blades that I like. Spyderco has everything I like.

If custom makers count... I'd be in trouble. But otherwise I could live with ZERO manufacturers and be totally happy.

I'd probably pick Busse. Is there a manufacturer or maker which has offered a wider variety of models? Axes, khukris, santokus, skinners, bowies, kerambits, katanas - Busse has poffered a wide variety to choose from.

The quality is good, too.

Victorinox.

They give you everything you might need from kitchen cutlery to pocket knives and their quality is good at an affordable price.

Chris Reeve Knives
(As DallasSTB mentioned, and IMHO, the best production knives on the planet, fixed and folding)

Spyderco is a close second.
