Hypothetical - you can only purchase from ONE MANUFACTURER!!! Which would you pick?

buck- hands down- been around for some time - u.s. company - they make traditional and modern knives - both folding and fixed- good customer service - lifetime warranty on all the knives - good prices for what you get and they also make knives at all price points - you can even get a good u.s. made knife for cheap from them!, think "bucklite"...

Benchmade or Spyderco for me. I would say Chris Reeve, but If I can only buy from one company, I want them to have a lot of different models.

Case. Reluctantly. I love the company and the variety but I get a hankering for modern materials/designs and steels once in a great while. So for moderns, Spyderco.

Busse without a doubt. No folder, but plenty of small fixed blades.

Custom maker......that would be difficult to choose....

I am excited on Zero Tolerances recently...but have much respect to the Triad lock from Cold Steel..and between these two I choose hmm..hmm..tada! Zero Tolerance!
but..but..how about Triad Lock and light as a feather sturdy knives with all g10 handles? oh my.. I am confused :)

Spyderco if only one, since I use folders more, and I really like the Para 2, Manix 2, and Military and trying out new steels, plus they still have some fixed blades. If I could choose one for fixed and one for folders, Swamp Rat and Spyderco (though ZT and Benchmade are close behind).

Fallkniven... they have a knife for every purpose...

or Murray Carter... he makes knives to spec so I could get whatever I wanted from a straight razor to a sword... and everything in between.. but $$$$

Easily KAI for me. Everything from lower end kershaws to high end zt's, a camp ax, a chopper, even shun kitchen knives! I can't really see needing something that they don't have in their inventory.

I had a hard time deciding between spyderco and zero tolerance. I just have the slight edge to Spyderco because of variety.

Kershaw/ZT without a doubt. I have yet to own one that has failed to serve me well. Great knives, Great price.

Next would be Buck
