I ain't drunk (yet). .. I'm just drinkin'!!!!!!

David, email to you.

MP, I need every bit of help I can get.

Jerry, are you still here?

m guy, give details on Hawk, or we are coming after you;)

Yeah I practice with all kinds of firearms but my Glock is my first choice. It just points naturally for me. I guess it's the grip angle. I find it better than most others.

Any one remember "thunder wear"? I never bought one, but I make my own everytime I eat pinto beans:p :D :D

Sad but true: The folks on the other side of the Atlantic seem to understand ergonomics better than us "upstarts".

We are however making progress!

I had a SIG 229 in .40 S&W and I put a shorter MacDougal trigger on it (fat hands and short fingers suck!!!!!) and I still could shoot it very well. It is all personal comfort. I had buddies that could pick it up and shoot like crazy with it, but I couldn't. It got traded or sold and a 45 probably took it's place.

Let us also not forget that all modern semi auto pistols are based in some way on the 1911.

Most of my friends don't particularly care for the Glock and it's grip angle. But they also like my Ruger Mark II/45 better than the regular Mark2 which I love. Don't get me wrong. I have pistols from Beretta, Colt, Ruger, Walther, Sig-Sauer and many revolvers but you have to go with what feels right. With guns like these reliability have never been an issue.

That's true. Do you think we will ever see that kind of "leap" forward in forearms technology again?

We could talk about leaps in blade technology but Jerry isn't talking and thatmguy is only being mean. I wish I was in the inner circle:grumpy:

Night all! Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm a wimp. However, when I have a nice, beautiful warm body to curl up with... Sorry guys.

Cheers,
BJB:D

I had a chance to visist the shop of Brownings Father. It was cool to see how they came up with that stuff, even in the 1820s.

Its also very cool how little the 1911 has had to change through the years.
