Back when Walmart first started carrying the knife I saw a message at the Candlepower Forum about it. I ran out to Walmart and got one.
I am very pleased. However, I wish to pick one small nit. The hole in the blade felt rough to my finger and showed uneven and unsightly machine marks in the hole.
I solved the problem by lightly boring out the hole on my drill press and then chamfering the hole on both sides with a cone shaped stone.
Overall fit and finish was fine. Lockup is fine. A little improvement on the machine work at the hole would have been a little better.
Thank you for your attention, Steve
Steve,
Here is a post from Sal, from our site forum... I hope it proves useful. Thanks for the comments.

We've done that in the past and found, that while it might "look" better, the function of the hole as an opener was better without the chamfer. In fact, a great deal of effort is extended to make the sure the hole is sharp enough to "bite", but not sharp enough to "cut".
