Gave the old Caterpillar a workout this morning. Luckily I was headed into the wind and didn't have it hitting the side of the truck.

 
Devils lake... Thats a cool name for a place!!

A little cooler here this morning as well... but not quite as windy LOL
 
The native Americans used to think there was a creature/demon that lived in the lake here and it ended up named Devils Lake as well as the town on the north side of the lake.

This wind sucks. I've got some shingles that blew off that I'll have to fix later this week. The temp is actually pretty close to what our highs have been for a few weeks. I actually turned our heat on for the first time last week. Then the last few days it warmed back into the 80's and I turned the a/c back on again. That's ND for ya.

I'm back up to speed with TWD. Skipped the second half of last season because... I dunno why. Anyway, up to date again except for the new episode of S6. Psyched! FTWD did disappoint me though.

I thought you would be done with it by now. What's taking you so long? Don't you kids know how to marathon any more?

*edit* now that I think of it, imagine how insanely long a marvel marathon will be, by the end of Phase 3...

Because I know I like it already and if I go through them all too fast I'll regret it. I learned that from Agents of Shield season 1 on Netflix, but at least there was more than one season of it. :rolleyes:
 
Ugh, just finished S5 TWD...worst one yet. Same old stupid story. People who don't want to kill zombies or other people...dumb and boring. If I had cable there's no friggin way I could take that mess week after week. Esp when the lamest of all story lines is every other week and the interesting one is like every 3rd week.

Just posted about it a few posts above. I kinda liked it. The change in the psyche of the main characters is immense now. This Rick or the one from S1 are two different people. Their development is pretty interesting. Yes, the dialogue can get a bit boring, but hey, that's what people do. Talk and talk and talk. FTWD was a lot more cringeworthy, imo.
 
Why are you guys talking about TV when you have knives in your possession that desperately need THEMSELVES to chop zombies (or wood)? Get outside and practice those zombie apocalypse moves! Better yet, destructively dismantle your television with the biggest BK&T knife you own and post some pictures. ;)

I played with some blades yesterday. I used a BK5 to cut some Papa Murphy's pizza just now.

Cuz I'm at work and its easier to look busy texting than running around with knives!

That's debatable.

If there was somebody at my work running around with big(er) knives then I had on me, I'd just assume that he was really busy. :D

People play on their phones all the time and it's not work ;)
 
It is debatable... Being an electrician and a supervisor, Knife play doesn't happen every day, although I do frequently chop bushes out of my way, our company communicates at least 75% by text/email to and from the office and from tech to tech.
