Sheath looks awesome, JD - and as Vik said, reasonably priced. And KB is offering G10 grips now, too.....will wonders never cease?

I nearly pooped when I saw the price but then I noticed all the other knives were listed at about double their actual street price. So when is Tomar's getting them in?

Yeah sticker shock hit me too. Unfortunately that'll be pretty close to Canadian prices by the time they get up here. Damn near cried in my poutine.

I just ordered the new Becker/Reinhardt Kukri because my older Becker/Reinhardt Kukri was getting lonely. Might get the new VZ grips so that all my Becker's can match my Buss***. Sorry, almost mentioned something contentious.

Well, that's the nice thing with AR-15's, is that it doesn't really hugely matter which one you get. I'd be more concerned about the barrel than anything else with a Del-ton upper. It will get the job done, but it's not likely to be a tack driver. If you're just looking for a battle rifle in 5.56, it will likely be fine. If you want something more accurate than that, you'll want better, IMO. I wouldn't be unhappy about running a Del-ton unless I was going for a precision build.

Dresnor, if you do end up doing a 308 build, remember that the 308 AR's do NOT have mil spec, so you can't mix and match. You need to buy complete, or at minimum a matched receiver set, and a matched BCG and barrel with headspace already checked.
 
Is there anyone who actually has RBK's in stock and shipping right now, or are you guys just putting in orders now and waiting? I've only seen two places that even have them listed, one says coming soon and the other says it'll ship within two weeks.

Sure as I spend my knife budge on my #5102 this comes out. I'll be able to afford one end of November it looks like :(

My budget is a little tight right now too but I can swing it. I have a gun or two that I could would be OK parting with if it came to that.

Don't worry. You're not the only one sitting on the outside watching everybody else order theirs. I'm tapped out after buying house stuff.

Apparently you didn't see my post a couple snark threads ago where I told everyone to not bother with a house and just live in the woods. This is exactly why. More money for knives!
