Is there anyone who actually has RBK's in stock and shipping right now, or are you guys just putting in orders now and waiting? I've only seen two places that even have them listed, one says coming soon and the other says it'll ship within two weeks.
Apparently you didn't see my post a couple snark threads ago where I told everyone to not bother with a house and just live in the woods. This is exactly why. More money for knives!
Well, that's the nice thing with AR-15's, is that it doesn't really hugely matter which one you get. I'd be more concerned about the barrel than anything else with a Del-ton upper. It will get the job done, but it's not likely to be a tack driver. If you're just looking for a battle rifle in 5.56, it will likely be fine. If you want something more accurate than that, you'll want better, IMO. I wouldn't be unhappy about running a Del-ton unless I was going for a precision build.
Dresnor, if you do end up doing a 308 build, remember that the 308 AR's do NOT have mil spec, so you can't mix and match. You need to buy complete, or at minimum a matched receiver set, and a matched BCG and barrel with headspace already checked.
Aye.... I'd be happy with a loft in pole barn. The wife? Not so much. They like to complicate things.
When I'm old enough to move out, I'm gonna build a little house. My uncle is a carpenter and I'm gonna get him to help so it'll be less expensive. Already got me a couple possible spots on the farm picked out for where it'll sit. Probably going to have three or four rooms on the bottom and a small sleeping loft.
BTW, Hoss, you said you have a PS3 right? If so, you need to buy Destiny (and it's expansion packs, but especially The Taken King). It reminds me of a slightly more futuristic Firefly, but in a video game. Plus it has Nathan Fillion in it..
Note to self, don't procrastinate. I have less than a month to finish my eagle scout requirements and apply for college in order to be eligible for scholarships. Sigh

This makes good sense crimson, thanks. Basically, I want something that is a good shooter and dependable and something to learn on as far as building goes. This will be my first AR. So, this is a learning experience more than anything with the result of having a inexpensive fun shooter. Not gonna be shooting any competitions with it. So, learn, shoot, fun, put in safe for when shit hits can type of gun.
........ Did I mention I can get this one free![]()
I have a PS3 but I haven't touched it since I got the PS4. I played the destiny demo some and it was OK. Just got Metal Gear Solid 5 so that should keep me busy for a while.
Ah, didn't know you had a PS4.
If the price is right, I might take the 360 off your hands for a friend of mine in Colorado.
This guy has some cool ideas, most of it he made himself but it all looks easy enough to duplicate.

That's one of my favorite channels. That guy is fun to watch!
And an xbox 360. I'm thinking about selling the 360 and PS3.
