Speaking of saffron, my wife got an e-mail that the crocus sativus corms have shipped and should arrive this week. Good thing I got the raised planting bed in place yesterday. Looks like we should have some saffron threads ready to harvest by Christmas...

I don't know anything about Firefly, but do think that people who name rifles (or knives) are a little bit goofy... :rolleyes:

I think that was kind of the point when they wrote that in the script. Which you would know if you would go watch Firefly. Right now.

You think? Actually if you know so much about the series shouldn't you "know" whether the creator and producers intended that naming the rifle would be poking fun at gun guys?

I'm truly amazed that you have the inside track to such a long dead series that never was.

Well, my dad does act like Hoss sometimes, my mom is from Virginia, and they both argue without really arguing all the time, so why not? :D

Hoss, I could buy Jayne being the Brute. Wash strikes me as a 15. Kaylee probably the Eskabar. Mal, obviously the 9. River maybe the RBK? Which would probably make Simon the 4.

Papas Rellenas, the spelling may be wrong but they are delicious fried mashed potato balls, lots have hamburger or other meat, some have cheese... Have seen them different ways but all were excellent.
