Is that Warden near the front buffalo horn? That would be awesome!
Buffalo have actually made a comeback in my area and the horn is great stuff to work with.

Actually I forgot the CPDABA-III at home so it isn't in the photo. :foot:

The SFNO isn’t a fatty:grumpy:.

Just double cut, saber grind and black paper. I’ll have to just put up with it. :p

I didn't get to use it as much as I’d need to give a full opinion. But I did whack a lot of brush and blackberries with it and I can say that it is a great working knife in the field. It may not be a pure chopper like an FBM but it is nice and light and it does chop very well, certainly better than that fat SHSHII I have and it is a lighter knife than the SHSHII.

For me it is a lot easier to take a whack at some brush in a tight spot near my leg, a tree you want to have alive at the end of the day, or near a structure; knowing that if you miss or go through the material much easier than you thought; that you CAN stop the blade. If you make a mistake with FFBM you are not stopping that much steel until you have done some damage.

So I think it may upset the 1-300 as an all day work knife but if I knew I was going to be mostly chopping bigger things than brush (say “brush” is up to a 2 inch branch but on average less than 1 inch) then I’d take the 1-300. And if I was just chopping big stuff I’d grab a CG FBM.

Over all I can say that the ZTBM is a knife that I find worth having. Weight of a medium size knife with nearly the power of a FBM

Tony,

Was just playing around with my 1/300 user and thought about something.....is it just me or do these things sharpen themselves? :p Before I sent it off to Ban, I did a hell of a lot of chopping with it and it stayed shaving sharp the whole time. It was used pretty heavily. After I got it back and it was "Banned" it's had a fair amount of use and it's still just as sharp (maybe even sharper if that's possible) than when I first got it back!

DEFINITELY my fav knife!

Oh jeez, that is such a novice statement, all us old timers know exactly why this happens, do you wanna know, I mean it's not like it hasn't been discussed before:rolleyes:

alright here below is a discussion relayed to me concerning INFI and it's power of resharpening:

here is a conversation between skunk and an old Busse plant worker:

Skunk: No, man. No, man, how'd he do all that other stuff, man? Like, how'd he make INFI, man. And, how'd he, like, how'd he get the ohio workers to do anything, man?
Worker: Oh, well, man, he had some magic dust, man.
Skunk: Some magic dust?
Worker: Yeah, magic dust, y'know? He used ta give a little bit to da workers, then he'd throw a little bit on the steel, a little bit to Jerry, a little bit more for Jerry, a little bit more...
Skunk: And this would get the workers off, man?
Worker: Aw, got 'em off, man?!? Are you kidding, man? they worked 24 hours shifts man and sprayed that magic dust all over the building man! that whole building is INFI dust man!
SKunk: far out man!!!
