I don't get it..............

I pointed the same thing out to my girlfreind last night. The NM SFNO is such a great knife that I can see it coming to that price point, but even the ASH-1 hasn't caught up to its potential in the secondary market. Original FSHs and SFNOs are going for that premium but that's taken a few years. The NM SFNO is the best mid-sized Busse I've ever held. It's great and I wish I could afford another. The CG FBM, Milly AD and my new NM SFNO may be the only Busse's I'll ever really "need" ie use. Although I love using my Culti, GW and AK too.

If Christmas money is needed thats understandable, but they're still available at Busse, so just try too break even:rolleyes::barf:, why such a feeble attempt to make a profit? Agent zero indeed.

You don't need all of the girls at the bar to like you, only one.

All that guy needs is one ignorant buyer. The cost of ignorance can be high.

.

I'm not trying to bust the guys chops, but you can order a black magnum canvas handle with a OD green blade direct from Busse for $327 + shipping (around $10) and about a two week wait, but there is a guy on the exchange that is asking $427 for one!!! I just don't get it!

Tim,

It's this kind of behavior that has soured me towards Busse collecting.
I'm glad that there are still a bunch of the old school HOGs (and a few newer HOGs) around to keep things in check.

Sanity check on isle 2

I dunno, you could make a thread on a bunch of other sales threads too. This one is just the most puzzling thread as it's an active Busse knife.

It makes me appreciate the solid hogs that have done me very fair deals with the knives I've purchased. I can look back at every single one I've got or had and feel very comfortable with the purchase price.

Me too. I've also avoided some very tempting but over-priced blades too.

The ebay auction ended... not sure if it had when you first mentioned the link, it solde for 430... amazing indeed.
