and I think I am in trouble:eek: It was incredible:thumbup:

Roadking with 1450cc and a little customizing:cool:

I only drove it to the culdesac and back. I got off and gave my buddy a high five and thanked him profusely.

Thats when I told him that was my first Harley....He said, " I didn't know that."

I laughed and said, "Now you tell me!":D:D

Tell us about your first ride:thumbup:

I've only riden a crotch rocket
I have a friend a friend thats in the marines and he rode a hayabusa from the east coast to camp pendleton. idiot. he said his groin and back hurt for a week.

I like smooth ride and comfort :) the 2001 yellow gold wing was my "grail" bike but I had to sell it. I miss it. Still have a Pacific Coast to ride around, but IMO nothing beats one of these for long riding comfort

nice bike(s).

my first ride was many years ago.

but I am shopping for a new one now. I want a Sportster-based Bobber with a wide-tire kit in back and the wider tire (like the 48s) in front too with a 4.x gal fat-bob tank.

March of 1997. Test drove a 1979 FLH shovelhead 4 speed, bought it with a hundred bucks down and a handshake. Still have it :D

You def rode a sweet bike, congrats!

Congrats T

We can ride down to Atlanta together next year ;)

First ride , like my own kids, my first ride (as a passenger) on a motorcycle was before I have any memories of it.

MC has been my primary mode of transportation almost my whole life. Bought my first at 12, and I've never not owned one since.

Lived in AZ, rode 365 days a year for 10 - 12 years, didn't get a car DL till I was 27, didn't own a car till my 30's. Other than Jan, Feb. I can ride here year round.

My 95's about to roll 198,000 mi. & it's been coast to coast 14 times.

120CI, 6 speed tranny......

I owned a Ninja 750 when I was younger and rode everyday until it snowed here in mass, I had a bike before a truck, I loved it.
About 8 years ago a friend of mine, R.I.P. Brother, stopped over and let me ride his Harley around town. I'm not sure the model but it was huge, wide, killer paintjob, windscreen, ect... The ride was amazing compared to the rockets I was used too. The seat was so comfortable that it was like driving around on a recliner. Harleys have a lot more power than I knew, I nailed the throttle down the main drag in town and it took off with a roar. I will never forget that ride thats for sure.
Congrats on your first time ride

I've never ridden a Harley.

Had a Honda XL125 as a teen. Got my motorcycle endorsement on a Honda CB750.

This has been my cruiser for the last 6 years - '03 Honda DC750 Shadow Spirit

First time I rode was on a Suzuki GZ 250 during a safety class. All I can say was it was amazing. I'm riding a Harley Sportster now, and I can't get enough. Too bad the weather around Washington is rain 9 months out of the year. Rain doesn't always stop me, but it certainly makes the experience less enjoyable.

I drove my brother in laws Fatboy years ago, it was really nice. I had on sandles and the exhaust pipe melted the soles on them. It was a sweet ride. That was the only time I ever rode a Harley and it was nice.

We were just two young kids, caught up in the glow of first-love and the rage of hormones. She caught my fancy as soon as I saw her and we...

Oh...

waitaminute... :o

I've been ridin' since I was 8, first legal street bike, 1972 Norton Combat Commando, I loved that bike, shoulda never sold it :(.

First killa crotch rocket, Kawazaki Z1R Turbo, scary friggin' bike, it ain't no Hayabusa but it'll definately generate some Gs. :).

First Harley was an AMF '76 Liberty Sportster, I hated it, spent more time workin' on it than ridin' it, (I still love the old Harleys, Knuks and Pans).

Fist Tourin' bike '83 Yamaha Venture, it was like drivin' a great handlin'sport bike with lots of storage.

I bought an 84 Venture with 17,000 miles on it this summer, I call it my Road Sofa 'cause it's so comfortable and it is my current ride, (funny how life dictates what you currently ride, hey so long as your in the wind it don't matter whatcha ride.).

Here is my Venture with my Daughter and Boyfriend sittin' on it.

My last one was just like the yellow Gold Wing above; (even the color!) but when my back went, so did the Wing. I really, really miss it. :(

My first was a little Yamaha 200 dual sport back in the 70's. That was a fun ride!

First motorcycle was a 1993ish Yamaha TW200. Put thousands of miles on that thing in the back yard. Still have it, actually.

First Harley ride was my dads. Ive ridden many since then.

I'll stick to BMW, thanks much. The Harleys do absolutely NOTHING for me. The new ones are solid bikes, but...eh.

South Park did a recent episode that pretty much sums up how I feel about them (and most of my buddies ride 'em!).

Damn Drew! That thing is friggin clean:eek:
Get off the forums, go ride and get that thing dirty for cryin' out loud;)

My first ride...on my uncle's Harley when I was too young to understand what was going on. Bungee chords & strapped to the back rest.

My first time in control, slamming my buddy's father's AMF golf cart into the bushes seeing how fast it would go down the hill.:D

I much prefer the two wheeled kind and being in control though.
