Far. I used to get pulled off of job sites regularly just to throw truss blocks to guys setting trusses. They always said I was a pitcher not a catcher. A baseball in my hands could be a lethal weapon. I can probably throw 80-90 mph.
Boat anchor.Big deal, the gun I carry weighs over 2 pounds. Want a trophy?
I try to stick with 3-4 ounces for an EDC knife but everyday I tote around my bloated, massive, pendulous ego.
I win.
Motorized scooter.Thought you’d need a hand truck for that humongous thing!!

I'm sorry, but carrying a butterfly knife as an "EDC" is just douchebaggery of the highest order.
Wait what? How the hell do you suppose that? There's nothing wrong with carrying a balisong.
You fit in well on this site.I'm sorry, but carrying a butterfly knife as an "EDC" is just douchebaggery of the highest order.

Balisongs can be opened without flipping the knife through the air and yelling hiiiiyaaaa.I agree I have nothing against someone carrying a balisong (assuming it's legal where you are). But using it as an EDC knife is sort of laughable. Depending on where you work/live, it may be a bit different, but flipping open a balisong (not to mention a huge 8 oz. balisong) to open a package, cut cardboard/foam, etc. seems patently ridiculous. You also have to remember that you are not the center of the universe. The fact is, many people will be afraid if someone flips open a balisong in front of them. I personally don't have a problem with it, but that's the way it is.
If someone carries a balisong for self-defense where it is legal, I have absolutely no problem with that. That is what they are designed for. But as an EDC? No way. There are so many better EDC options than a balisong.

If it is legal and you are responsible with it, who gives a crap what other people think. I sure don't.I agree I have nothing against someone carrying a balisong (assuming it's legal where you are).
