Hello all,

I just wanted to let you know that I got my Allen Blade knife (a MEUK.) I was sent an e-mail with a pic of my knife, and then an e-mail either the enxt day or later the same day saying my knife ahd been shipped. I received the knife about 10 days (I think) after being notified that my knife was in the mail. 10 days sounds like a lot, but another package send by another forumite tooks 2 weeks to get to me! Gotta love the border.

Anyways, I'll be doing a review later when I can get a digicam this week to take some pics. I just wanted to let you guys know that the Blades finally got me my knife, so Allen seems to be getting back on track. Judging by the quality of my new knife, I sure gope Allen does get back on track. It is an amazing knife.

This is great to see Crayola. If Allen keeps going the way he is he just may make me eat my words. That is something I will happily do once he has gotten knives to all that are owed and he has paid the money he still owes Rob Simonich.

Fantastic.

I'm with Keith. I sure hope the Blade's keep up the good work.

Crayola,

Please post pics as soon as you can.

I'm anxious to see your knife.

Does anyone have current contact email for Mr. Blade?

It's been five months since his last email to me saying that he'll refund me my prepayment from Oct. 2000. An email to his old address just got bounced back from his ISP as being 'user unknown'

My last post here was sarcastic and he sent me a prompt email saying how he didn't appreciate me flaming him. Out of courtesy to him I deleted the text. Seeing as how it's been NINE months since then I guess I was wrong to have done so.

I must have missed something, if he sent you an e-mail couldn't you just reply to that?

I'm glad to see he's getting orders out as well, I have two of his knives and really enjoy them. Not sure if I would ever order one or not, but as long as they're still being made they'll be turning up on the secondary market in the future ;)

That's what I'm trying to say - I sent an email to that very address and it got bounced back as 'user unknown'. In the last year and a half his email address has changed several times and it's been a virtual game trying to keep up. I do note that it seems "interesting" that his email address remains with the same ISP's - these last few ones were/are with Earthlink and previous ones were one AOL...

Keith: Thanks for the email address - I'll try it tomorrow!

Some people set the email reply to line or from line to be invalid, sometimes it's accidental as in a typo, sometimes it's intentional like adding _nospam_.

Just wanted to post that in a few days it will THREE YEARS since I prepaid for my knife and I still have never received it. I've tried on a couple of occasions to contact Mr. Blade and have not gotten any responses. Other times the emails simply (as before) get bounced back as being invalid.

I was promised a refund over a year ago and (of course) never got it. You people who received your knives should count yourself lucky. :(

Interestingly enough, Mr. Blade sent me an email the same day that I posted my last update about this ordeal. He said that my knife was ready except for the handle (which he said he could take care of the following week) and to re-send my shipping address.

Unfortunately I didn't check that email account until just today (10/1/03) and so I replied with the info. Will now see if I finally get my knife.

P.S. The address that he sent me the email from WAS BladeCutlery2003@aol.com

It would be great to see you get your knife, yeedude. That would be one more that Allen has managed to get caught up with. I will be looking forward to your update.

Come on Allan, hurry up and make this right. Three years is way to long to be waiting for a knife that has been paid for.

As of tomorrow it will be two weeks since I sent my email to Mr. Blade confirming my shipping address. Have had no reply from him and have (of course) not received the knife.

The saga continues.

As I said before, the saga continues...

It's now been 38 MONTHS since prepayment and nine weeks (10/14/03) since I last heard from him. His last email stated an estimated delivery of sometime in the beginning of last month.

Well, as with before, the time came and went and no knife arrived. I waited a full month past this latest "delivery date" and then emailed him on December 8th to ask about the latest status.

It's been just under two weeks since that last email to him and I've not received a response.

AAAAGH!

39 MONTHS and counting!

His last email to me on the 7th of this month said that the knife was going to be shipped out on either the 12th or 13th and that the delay was due to the extreme cold weather shutting his shop down.

That was over three weeks ago.

I emailed him again earlier this week to ask for what the status is and have (once again) not received any word back.

Why would anyone still want to own a knife made by this guy? Everytime you unsheath it you'd be reminded of what a POS the maker is. Custom knives should make you feel good, otherwise you might as well buy a production knife.
