I got my Injection 3.5" in the mail today!!!

I can't wait so excited for all the new stuff to come out I have been chomping at the bit. Kai hit a home run with all of there new designs. Please Kai make them faster....
 
Gosh darnit! Just when I was saving up for scales on my very first ZT, a 0561 thank you, spy did my eye on this beauty! I must stop bringing my knives and laptop to bed with me! In other forums that would sound bizarre or even perverse, but here I think I might be in good company, whether anyone else will admit it or not. LOL I won't even mention my long strop and my 16oz extra fine buffing compound! This knife would get me 1/4 point closer to an Order of Kai membership, though I fear I have a long way to go with only 13 Kershaws, 1 ZT, and a cool collector's tin that I bought a Funxion just to get it. Boy that knife is a beast. Of course now I have too many Kershaw knives to fit in it, and is it just me or do other people like to segregate their knives by maker? Separate but equal, to borrow a dated 50's term better left forgotten. Lets be honest shall we? Or just me. Kai knives are my pièce de résistance, equal to none for production knives, dollar for dollar. Humm, like the way that sounded. Whenever I upgrade my membership here, that will be my signature. No plagiarism! I hope i'm not mistakenly posting this on Spyderco's page! :D

Sheesh, parting is such sweet sorrow...

On the keeping brands separate; I do that, have seven Kershaw bags, two ZT bags, a small Spyderpac, and a PVK bag (like the Kershaw and ZT bags) that I keep everything else in. Makes it a bit easier to find what I'm looking for.

Sounds like you have a pretty decent collection. I'm still building mine up.
 
Thanks for sharing! I got to handle the Injection at Shot this year and loved it. Just moved so money is a little tight but this is definitely on my list. Congrats!

Wow! 9 Kershaw/ZT bags @ 18 knives each, your collection must be huge! I'd have to get a bigger bed LOL! If you ever need a knife sitter... :D
 
Ive never really been into kershaws but I cant wait to check this one out, I like it a lot. Maybe itll turn me on to some others.

Now if only I can find it in stock!
 
I got my 3.0 in the mail today and Kershaw really hit it out of the park on this one. It's a fantastic knife for under $40. I love the blade shape and the FFG. The machined thumbstuds are attractive yet very functional, the machined G10 handle scales are a nice change from plain black G10, and I like the classier looking pivot screw. It even has a chamfered backspacer. That is a lot of features for a knife in this price range. Mine came with no fit and finish issues and a centered blade. The only con I can think of is they could have milled out the liners to make a little lighter but it's still only 3.3 oz so that is being very nit picky.
 
By any chance has any of the other trickle out yet I really really want to get my hands on the thermite and the ZT 0566.

I know of one site selling the Thermite. I have one on the way. PM me as I can't post it since they are not a supporting vendor.
 
Just got mine today...pretty stoked on the new kershaw lineup....very good quality for the price.
