I'm fine with Buck branching out. I just hate to see a Buck called a Hoodlum with all the negative vibes the word Hoodlum brings to mind.

Hopefully they will call it something else.

I hear you Dave but Ron Hood is an interesting character and the name fits the knife and the maker.

I just hope to get one, I missed nearly every mailing last year, because somehow BCCI showed I hadn't renewed my membership. Got it sorted out after showing they had cashed my check, but missed a bunch of stuff. :(

Mine arrived in MN Friday. Lots of pretties.

The 121 is about all I'd be interested in.....I don't suppose it will ever turn up on the Buck Website anyway. But, ever the optimist.......I'll keep checking, just in case.

That's just the way it is.

Do the legacy knives normally go up on the website? There are a couple I'd like but don't know how to order and I don't recall ever seeing them on the site unless they are calling Legacy knives, "limited edition".

So what's the must have knife in this issue?

Perhaps not "must have" but at the very least "really, really want" are the 102 Stacked leather Woodsman (just love the look of it) and the 120 B&C General (been wanting a General for some time), both of which are Legacy models. Everything else is pretty much a "will get" at some point.

Are you set up so you can log in as a BCCI member? When you are logged in you will see reduced prices in red and just order at those prices.

I don't know what they put on the website.....not much, apparently.

Paying full retail for these is just for the wealthy among us.

:)

I am and I do. My question is/was, are the Legacy models normally shown on the retail site? I see and have seen Limited Edition but don't recall ever seeing Legacy. As far as I can tell just about everything Buick makes is on the site, at least as far as regular production so I don't understand the basis for your "not much" comment?

I don't know if this was called a "Legacy" but it's the only thing I've ever found on the web site that I wanted to buy (the knife, not the gun).

I'm a fan of that stacked leather 102 as well. Saw one on an auction site a while back and just liked it!
