I hate you people! And so does my wife.

Since we're chatting. Anyone know of a good single blade saddlehorn? Case makes them, but I haven't seen any here and I'm not buying one without handling it first.

I only own three Case knives; the peanut (must have imo), the new sowbelly stockman (which is near perfect, for the price especially) and a 1976 6318hp in red bone that is one of my favorites. The Case Sowbelly in CV really is worth a look and has good reviews.

If you are looking and don't want to spend 60+ the Case Sowbelly is worth a look.

As for the addiction...it can be broken, ....I think. :D

EDIT: The only single saddlehorns I have seen lately are all customs. I've been wanting one lately as well.

I agree, it SHOULD be the 2015 forum knife. Maybe with a Spearpoint and saw cut scales... In purple or white bone.

Let's see some knives, guys! You can show him what he might want to spend his next dollars on!

Here's a Queen Cannitler for your perusal. ;)

Enablers? Not us!

Should ought to probably, possibly, maybe have at least one 73, too! ;)

I second the 73. Great knife. Of course, you can't go wrong with any of these. I have let go of most of these, but they are worth looking for and having.

:D

WOW Brett. Great looking group shot there.

Poor OP is going to be broke and divorced by the time this thread ends. (Just kidding OP).

P.S. Hey OP, go look up Bark River (HEHE). Although I am sure you probably heard of them before.

Beautiful knives, Brett. Your middle name doesn't happen to be Charlie does it? ;)

Haters gonna hate.

Trappers gonna trap.

Sodbusters gonna sodbust.

Barlows gona barl.

Canoes gonna paddle.

Congress gonna continue to have a low approval rating.

Moose gonna....uh...well...eat willows and stuff?

:D

So, I've officially gone and done it. I'm part of the GEC club. Bought a 92 in green micarta from a member. Suppose I should start looking for supplemental income now. Anyone hiring?

I have been known in the past to do random jobs around the neighborhood to buy a few knives. :D
Congrats on the 92! Great little knife. There will be a new run of 15s out soon. Oh, and before you know it, all the GEC distributors will be added to your favorites list on your computer. Just remember to eat and sleep and you should be ok. :D

A fine choice. The #92 is one of my favorites. Now let's see a pic!

An 81 with a 56. I nearly lost my mind looking for a good stockman for EDC. Found it!

Eventually I'll also know what those damn #s mean too. Lol. For now the patterns page is bookmarked. I think I might need a sheepsfoot 15... Bleh.

The #15 with sheepsfoot is a great choice. I have one in my pocket daily. Sheepsfoot with a pen blade in front TC Barlow, this knife was my "grail" knife and it's not been left out of my pocket since I received it.

Another that keeps calling me is the #15 pen in front of razor.

I still don't have a complete grip on the #'s of all the GEC line.

Chris

Just to give you a head start; the first 2 #s stand for the pattern. The next two the blade configuration. And, the last two the year produced.

Shrek wants to toss an Opinel in the mix too, a little easier to afford and also very very sharp ;)

Haha, love the pic. Never had a slim, but I've used a #8 for years. Was given one by an old man at a gun show when I was 9. I forget it's about as traditional as traditionals get. Kind of always held Opis in a class of their own.
