I picked up my first flipper this past weekend, a Kershaw Cryo. Ever since I bought it, I cant put it down. Whenever I find myself by my desk or watching tv, I bust it out and start flipping. I think I am addicted.

Signed,

Dude looking for his next Flipper

Hahaha sounds like my problem
I'm broke and still eyeing a XM18

I know the feeling all too well. I recently dug my CRKT Ripple out and decided to put it back in my EDC rotation. The ultra smooth IKBS bearings are all too tempting and I find myself playing with this knife much more than using it. Give me a smooth flipper over an AO or automatic any day of the week.

I cured my flipping problem getting a spyderco native

Now I have a thumb hole flick problem :D

Check out the Fox Deimos, it will hit both of your addictions simultaneously. I am always on the hunt for a new flipper. Welcome to the club op!

The Skyline was next on my list. What is the main difference between AO and manual flipper? Doesnt reploy as fast?

They will flip open just as fast as speedsafe once you get the feel for it. Also, you can open the knife slowly with the thumb stud which comes in handy sometimes.

Well that didnt take long. Ended up ordering an orange skyline. Figure it will be a good opportunity to try out a popular model with a manual flipper. The orange scales dont hurt much either

Check out the Kershaw RAM, it's now discontinued but you can still find them relatively easy. It's a sweet little package

My name is Chris, and i'm a Flipaholic.

Look at the Zermeno Azrael if you're willing to fund your love of flipping further.

IMHO, it's the best custom flipper out there under $500

In a much more pocket friendly package the Kershaw Junkyard Dog II Composite is my EDC and is by far the most versatile blade i own. I use it for everything from cutting my sammich at lunch to peeling the various furry things that i enjoy ventilating on the weekends

This is too funny.

The Cryo is my first flipper too. I find it almost therapeutic flipping it open and closing it. I'm really afraid I'm going to wear it out or break it.

So I bought another one. Just in case. ;)

I was addicted to flicking knives out thanks to my Para2... but little did I know that was a gateway drug to my ZT 560... I'm just glad I'm not alone in this flipping addiction.

If spyderco had more flippers it would be such a fun one to have. You'll have so many ways to open.

Haha I know how you feel. For your own sake, DO NOT GET A KERSHAW!!!l the speed safe open on those things will give your thumb a blister!:D

love flippin my skyline! First manual flipper. The Para 2 is fun to play with also, so smooth!
