I have a Flipping Problem..

Re: the flippin' Skyline (hehehe), I can pop mine out with no wrist action at all. Just put the tip of your finger on the very tip of the flipper, and when you pull down, make sure you're pulling down in line with the handle, so your index finger travels down the handle (but not touching it). Of course, mine is very well-used and broken in, but I haven't had to loosen the pivot. AFAIK, Thomas W says all flipper Kershaws are tuned from the factory, and he can flip open any manual flipper fresh out of the box.

i have 5 kershaw flippers. Not one of them was tuned to flip from the factory... they all flip perfectly after just a little tinkering.

i love kershaw

I can flip open my skyline with a little wrist action w no problem. Can you flip it open without any wrist action? I can flip my brothers kershaw ram no problem while holding wrist still, but not so much w the skyline.

I couldn't open mine without wrist action at first. Just give it a couple weeks of pocket time and use and you will be able to soon enough.

I picked up my first flipper this past weekend, a Kershaw Cryo. Ever since I bought it, I cant put it down. Whenever I find myself by my desk or watching tv, I bust it out and start flipping. I think I am addicted.

Signed,

Dude looking for his next Flipper

Whatever you do, DON'T get a balisong! Talk about addicting! I think my wife just might divorce me over my addiction to flipping bali's.
