I have a Flipping Problem..

If you like flippers try a Kershaw RAM, i think that's the only flipper design that doesn't use liner/frame lock.

that is one BIG flipper... 4.52" blade... nice.

I normally don't like fox knives, but i like that one

The JYD started my flippin addiction . It is still in the edc rotation after 3 or 5 years . I picked up the ZT 0561 and it is flippin awesome!! IKBS + flipper= drive my wife flippin nuts!!! I highly recommend getting a ZT 0560 .If you really want to have some fun and possibly cut the crap out of yourself get a balisong.work more hours you are going to need the extra cash!

Pretty soon your pretty wife will tell you to stop it or she's leaving.

ZT0561 is not IKBS, just a fyi.

ZVT and IKBS are not the same thing.

0561 is not ZVT FYI, it's KVT.
I think I saw Thomas W. make a post where he called the KVT system on a ZT knife ZTVT
OK now I'm confused. Can anyone tell me what the difference between IKBS,ZVT,KVT and ZTVT is ? Are they all bearing pivots? Thanks guys.

I think the plan is to save up and eventually get a zt 0560. A co-worker brought in a xm-18 and it was super cool.

I had the same problem flipping my Buck 337 Paradigm Pro, I got rid of it, now I just flick my paramillitary II for hours.

I was wondering if anyone else thought "good god, that would be annoying as *)%# to listen to". I seriously hope none of you repetively flip the knives when others are within earshot

ZVT, KVT and ZTVT are all the same thing, Kershaw's proprietary bearing system, it has a washer/race that holds the bearings in. IKBS AFAIK just lays the bearings in a slot so if you take the knife apart the bearings can fall out.

So I just got my skyline in the mail, but I am having trouble flipping it open. I put a touch of oil near the pivot but still having trouble. This is my first flipper without a/o. Is there a proper way to flip it? Does the pivot need to be loosened? if so, how do i do that?

get a #9 star wrench and loosen the pivot 1/2 turn. That should make it flip like a scalded cat

I had the same problem. Loosen the pivot a bit, but too much and it will start rubbing the liner. I have to flick my wrist a bit to get it all the way open.
