I started getting this urge to get it dirty. Maybe not actually put it in mud but close to it. Anybody use their not so inexpensive folder to the point they are filthy? Picture would be awesome too. Thanks

I don't throw it in the mud but I try to use it as much as possible when I first get it so I don't safe queen any.

I tried throwing my Sebenza into a tree.. got that first snail trail and it didn't bother me getting any more after that

I dont intentionally try to give my knives character but I have felt the stress of getting new ones started. Honestly though, it has been a while since I felt that and I just picked up my first CRK a couple weeks ago.

Definitely seen some dirt, rocks and filth but only drywall photo remains… :D

I was hoping Blues was gonna drop some pics:thumbup:

115Italian,

Tell you what I'm gonna do . . .
you send me your knife and I'll put it in the mud for you. I might carry it around a few days, you know, to warm it up so the interaction with the mud is optimal, chemically speaking.

No really . . . I'll do a great job for you . . .

Oh yah . . . and you wanted a picture :

For me, knives are tools not jewelry. Knives look best when they show their scars received by honest work.

You must use for every hard and dirty task, every knife you own no matter what they cost, or you're being wasteful and not getting your full monies worth! If that's the way people want to see it good for them. I sure only use a few knives I own though. And when I need an axe, or a shovel, chainsaw, or whatever I use those.

No, you got it all wrong Blues. I encourage people to do douchy stuff with their expensive toys. Its makes me feel better about myself.

So I'm a douche for actually using my knives? Intersting!!!

Expensive? What does that even mean? I enjoy cognacs that are $200+ a bottle, should I start drinking bud light instead because drinking expensive cognac is douchy too?

It's your money do what you want to do, when someone else earns it and hands to you, maybe then you should start worrying about their opinion.
