Great news!!!

There simply is no comparison, you'll see.

Enjoy;):)

You can always grind the edge and point off of the blade of the fake to make it into a trainer.

Those that support the makers of counterfeit products are aiding and abetting. I don't agree with it for any reason. The original being too expensive is a very poor excuse, in my opinion. There are lots of non-counterfeit knives that are inexpensive and good. As far as I am concerned, purchasing a counterfeit knife is no better than buying a DVD player that some guy took out of the trunk of his car.

I realized after I signed off last night that I should have clarified my point, and said that I don't buy fakes, etc. from retail stores, or the internet. The only ones I've ever bought have usually come from flea markets, or garage sales, etc. and were usually 'used' when I got them.

I also said that "I'd rather pay $20. . . ", and in hindsight, I don't think I've ever paid that much for a fake. I don't think I've ever paid more than $5-$10. for one; and I usually destroyed them. Gained a lot of good experience (and a nice little scar) for not much $.

In my experience, the fakes/knockoffs/counterfeits NEVER hold up to any kind of real use, and I haven't found one yet that would keep an edge for very long. Fixed blades snap, and the folders usually break at the pivot point.

thx - cpr

I would like to see a good comparison write up on the two. And see if the real thing puts the other to shame.
