I just got my Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter knife in, and it's AMAZING!!!

I see what your saying. When I first stepped out of my comfort zone and started buying higher end knives, I didn’t claim them as the best. It simply sparked more curiosity to what other brands had to offer in a similar price range. To claim any knife is the “best” can be viewed as a challenge to other brands, especially when it’s a brand as controversial as Cold Steel.
 
I on the other hand, have never held a cold steel knife and been that impressed. The Ti-Lite came pretty close, until the thumb stud chewed my thumb up...

Love your enthusiasm though.
 
I bought a Cold Steel version of Canadian Belt Knife. It is now zip tied to the railing on the front of my boat for a just in case knife that won't be missed if it's dropped overboard. Best knife ever for that job! Ever!!

I’m sorry, but I have to disagree on almost all points. The only thing the ultimate hunter may be good for is larger game. You are gonna make a mess of waterfowl and upland game insides with that CS.
As a legitimate waterfowl and upland game hunter, I can attest to years of fixed blade use. A folder can dress game, but is not ideal. Here are four knives that will out perform the Ultimate Hunter in every way on game.

I love my CPK’s. But there isn’t one offering from CPK that would make a good bird cleaning knife, which is what the OP claims to hunt.
Maybe CPK will create the “waterfowl shiv?” 😁

In my younger days I was ate up with waterfowling and had a few decent handmade calls. I think the best one was a Jeff Foiles that he made and signed. I never owned a Boog Powell but handled a few and they are quite something too. I got old and moved away from the good spots of my youth (and middle age) and gave it up. It's the sport I miss the most.

Memories are always fun to look back on. Luckily I am still out and about and knockin’ ‘em down.

You just got it? You are recommending it for hunting over other knives you claim to have years of experience with? What have you done hunting wise with this knife that makes you feel it is better than those other knives?

I call bullsnot unless you can produce some pics. No excuses. At this point you have less than zero credibility here and are nothing more than a troll. You need to produce evidence or GTFO. Did you not see when the mod said he was done with you after he closed you last thread? Put up or shut up, son.
 
I own no CS knives. Not many appeal to me. But the Ultimate Hunter looks decent. And I’d like to check out the SR1 G10 too. I love that tanto blade.

As far as this thread is concerned , it’s far more civilized than I was expecting (thus far).

I tried to not go hard on him as I suspect he may be a kid or teenager. But he is starting to get aggravating. Same crap every week.
Me or you would have been banned or walking on thin Ice with the mods for these kinds of repetitive unproductive posts.
All they do is simply cause a big stink and serve no productive purpose. Guys like this are a waste of bandwith on this forum. And a slap to the face of legitimate members. Site runs slow at times because of guys like this wasting bandwith by the hundreds. Getting their rocks off with nonsense posts like this that for entirely too long been a parasite to an otherwise great forum.
I used to like some cold Steel knives. But because of trolls like this. I decided to throw my cold Steel knives I have left in the trash can or donate them to the thrift store. Starting today.

We need a bittersweet emoji. That's how I look at it now. Definitely had some times. It's the friends and my dog I miss the most. And the sunrises and breaking ice to set decoys, and breakfast at 2:00 AM and a blue sky with 20 mile an hour north wind with high vees of hundreds of mallards ready to sit and on and on. Some very vivid memories in the banks, which I'm grateful for. It's helped me learn nothing is forever.

I disagree that you would be banned for doing these sorts of threads. Me? For sure! 😁

Joking aside, while he seems like an obvious troll, the mods are quite nobble and want to give the benefit of the doubt when at all possible. Like you said, he could just be a dumb kid who needs to learn and we shouldn't ban but rather try to correct folks like that. I believe the mod staff are giving him just enough rope here to do you know what. The last thread, it was pretty clear that he was on his last chance. Now this thread where he purposely goes just below the troll threshold of those other threads. While that seems nice, it actually confirms he knows exactly what he is doing and is in fact a time wasting troll rather than an enthusiastic dumb dumb. I predict a swift demise.

Could be wrong though! If he produces pics of him processing a bunch of game with his brand new knife, proving he isn't just a lying troll, I see no reason for a ban!!
