I didn't read this entire thread til I got back home . . . was unaware SMKW also had the BK15 and BK17. Probably just as well 'cause I'd have been in trouble had I bought over $264 worth of knives as opposed to $88.

Can't believe the clerk didn't mention this to me. But IMO most of the clerks are SMKW are mere order takers as opposed to folks trying to help a Becker fan.
Maybe later on the 15 & 17 . . . but I really wish I had looked at them so I could get a feel for the difference in grinds amongst the three.
Also, the engraving of "First Production Run" and Ethan's signature are sunk
into the metal and definitely won't be coming off when you strip the knife. It'll just be the same color as the rest of the blade.
