If I had the extra cash right now (and if I wasnt waiting for TUESDAY!!!) they would have sold at least a couple more to me LOL a 17 and another 16 to put in the safe.
 
I'm heavily weighing out buying another 16. I mean, we'll only to be able to get this price on it for sure for another few days or so maybe? They will probably be gone soon, and this is the last time we'll be able to get a factory fresh saber grind 16, unless sometime in the distant future they bring back the saber grind for another limited run or something.

Someone should just email them and ask. Since its not a customer support issue, they'll probably actually answer haha :D
 
If I had the cash I would have gotten all 3, and then all 3 again in production form.... I need a real job....... :(
 
My turned up this weekend and I'm undecided if it's going to be a user or a keeper. I'm not sure about the handle, it feels like it waists in a little too much near the blade but perhaps that's just getting used to that new knife feel?

I do have one quick question for all those folks that have one, do the retention straps seem unusually tight/hard to snap around the handle on your sheath and also are they tighter if you turn the knife so it's in "lefty carry" - I'm a lefty and would need to carry it that way but the snaps seem require two hands & a lot of fiddling on my sheath.

they loosen up...my lower strap was so tight I cld barely snap it new from box...after some handling and lots of opening/closing they work much better now.

Yeh they loosen. Plus the ends of mine kinda roll under which makes it harder to close. After playing a bunch they get softer and easier to manage.

Also try to choke up on the handle, that's where that indent comes in handy and is most comfortable.
 
I couldn't help it...I pulled the trigger and ordered my first Becker...a BK17! Now I have to wait for it to arrive next week. I am soooo looking forward to getting it I can hardly wait. I guess I can spend the time waiting to figure out what my next knife will be!

I really like the clip point blade but I must admit it was tough deciding between the 16 and 17. My next knife is very likely going to be the 16. I also see a BK 11 in the future too. :)
