You could probably etch the signature if you wanted but it sounds like you already answered your question. If you don't really care about the roll stamped or the Grind on the 16 I would just wait.

I'm guessing its all about the money. It took forever for them to sell the 10's why risk that on the tweeners as well. This was probably more of a sure thing. Eh I got one either way so i'm happy.
 
It makes me happy to see everyone so excited about these knives.:) Even though these will be the only roll stamped examples and will retain if not increase in value, especially the 16. I'm going to hold out until the laser full flat grind 16 is released. It will make a great companion knife to my bk 9.
 
I was in...then I saw $13.oo shipping...I'll wait to buy one an abuser...screw the safe queen.

I'd say people are slightly freaking out. I know I am!!!!! Next week is going to be a tweenathon of tweener threads. Rolled, stamped, stripped, gimped, choiled, oiled, fondled, ogled, handled, sheathed, batonned all manner of things are coming from happy people.

True but they coulda clued us in kinda maybe. I'm just glad I got them and they are stamped, now they will match their evil brethren.

I laugh at smokies absurd shipping charge, and spit on their premium price gouging. Fiends. Whose idea was it to laser that stuff all over it anyway? I don't object to the limitedness of it but uit just looks out of proportion to the knives.

I'm stripping mine, putting a big old choil on that sucker and getting some nice G10 for the tang. Can't wait!
