I just ordered a limited edition bk16!

Exactly it is not about getting it first. I want this limited edition. I am going to go so far as to say I am going to try to keep it pristine. Don't know how that will work out though. :)

I hear ya. I'll probably give in and use it. That's how I felt about the BK10LE as well. I still haven't used it yet.
 
I'll wait. I don't do safe queens...only users and I don't like stuff on the blade like that. I have more than enough users right now, I can wait for the production run.
 
There wont be a production run of this knife, though, bro. All other BK16s forever will have a different grind and wont be roll-stamped.

The etch is definitely dopey and will get beat to shreds asap.

I'm going to use mine like a one night stand.
 
I see Tomars has the production models listed at $65 plus shipping (coming soon). He is where I go for Beckers and Ka-Bars, so I don't feel bad for only paying $15 extra for a 1st production that will be here in 3 to 5 days.

While it would have been nice, I certainly don't feel we are entitled to this at all. From the apparent feeding frenzy, many (most?) of them are getting gobbled up by Beckerheads anyway.
 
I just bought a house up here by the Golf Course last Summer and I am up here today doing some work around the yard and I am on the way now to get mine as I am only 10 Minutes away and there and stop by there about once a week anyway in the summer.! Guess it will be just another Safe Queen.! Already have a set of Micarta Handles that will fit it and now will have to send it to my Sheath Maker for a real nice Leather Sheath. About $85 for the Knife and $45 for the Handles and $65 for the Sheath.! No wonder I stay broke all the time @ a $195.00 a pop... - - - - come close to getting a cheap Custom for that (need to sell all my Beckers and go Custom all the way) come out better in the long run.! { Never let go of my RAT-3 though as it is my Fav.}
