Case is not in the business of manufacturing Delrin, nor are any other knife maker...DuPont provides the Delrin to any number of manufacturers who choose to use it. There is a plant in Germany, I believe, that manufactures a synthetic quite similar to Delrin, and it's called Celcon or Ultraform, and the chemical properties/differences between these synthetics is 10%. To date, I have yet to hear a Euro or any foreign knife manufacturer refer to their synthetics as Celcon or Ultraform. On the flip side, the misuse of the term Delrin is widespread, and many a knife that wears it, in fact, is sporting nothing more than a cheap plastic.
