My first set of 24 scales.... Might add as option on my site. Made these wider than factory by request and look kinda 3-D. Made a small chisel out of a palm flat head screw driver to finish off the hex head.

Those look real good! I made a slab of micarta but I have never done anything with it lol.
 
Well, the boys took a hard loss tonight in the league tourney. They still did great, finishing second and giving the winning team their only league defeat of the season.
Monday through Wednesday, they played four games, all of them one-run differences. Lost the first one, won the next three squeakers, including a double header.
In the final elimination game tonight, the other team just had hotter bats. One kid jacked two balls, including a grand slam, and that was that.

SAWEET.... I named my team the Warriors this year....... is this 'little league association' ?

we're playing out the season in our old neighborhood, there its more private affiliate and when we do tourneys its weekend only and most teams play double headers, and even triple :eek: then there is the next day :D

Looks good...How'd you get the scales perfectly flush and not grind up the waterjet marks in the process? Guessing you take the scales off and sanded them separately?

Awesome job! You can never win them ALL, there is always another season :)

4th boy from left, with red hair... he is my favorite, ......almost looks like he has a sleeve tatted on his arm :) Plus he looks like he is plotting to whip ALL those other kids A$$es... I think he can do it!

The 2nd kid is looking at the 3rd kid like "i don't care which cheerleader you say it was, no i aint smelling your fingers"

The 5th kid, Id assume is the one with the camera person?, since he seems the most ready and posed for the photo

1st-3rd are the class clowns... 4th is the hard head, 5th-8th the leaders of the pack, future ladies men, 9-11 aren't sure what they are doing there really but are happy to be a long anyway lmao...
 
I went to bed a few hours ago, just me and the wife.....wake up and my son is laying damn near on top of me, between me and the wife, and my daughter is tugging at my arm saying she had a nightmare and wants to get in bed with me... Ill never have a big enough bed! but i love my little brats
 
Thos scales are looking stellar, 710!

First exam is finished, I think it went OK. Two to go :). But now I'll be going in the backyard. My dad and our neighbour are boring a well, 15 meters deep, and they needed some assistance so...
And it's 30°C, lol!

I outlined them cut them down and a lot of on and off, I did grind them down on the 24, I just didn't go all the way down.
