Can someone help me double check I have my math done correctly. 5 oz canvas means it weighs in a 5 oz per sq yard. If the canvas tarp I need is 8 foot long, by 5 foot on either side then it will be 80 sq foot. That makes it 26.6 sq yds. For the sake of simplicity I'll say 30 sq yards cause I'll need to add flaps to the front and back as well. So, 30sq yds * 5oz would be 150 oz, divide that by the 16 oz/lb and I get a total tarp weight of just under 9 and a half pounds.


Did I calculate that right?!
