Haha man I'm such a whiny little b*tch but pfff we've had like 8months of crappy weather, couldn't get out much. And now it's 29°C in the shadows. And I have an exam tomorrow. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AAARGH

Man, that really takes me back to the farm. Almost 30 years ago my father bought a couple of scythes and we used them to clear almost 3 acres of high grass.

Mmm.... The good old days! :thumbdn:
 
I use a push mower, bringing it back old skool! We have very little grass area and it would of been a waste of money to buy a gas powered mower.
 
I kinda wish I hadn't had my coffee before checking in here this morning. I at least could have convinced myself I hadn't seen that.

Found a corner in my addition is soaking wet from all the recent rains here. Looks like I'll be tearing up some shingles and replacing them next week. The addition is only 14x20, so it shouldn't take much more than a day. I was planning on putting new shingles on anyways, but I'll just be doing it a bit earlier than expected.

Gf surprised me with a Kabar Kukri Machete for my birthday. She had already gotten a Spyderco Southard for me a few months ago, so I didn't expect it........was a nice surprise. I believe I'll take it out in the yard and test it out in a bit. Gonna throw a ribeye and a few porkchops on the grill in a bit. Its definitely a beutiful night for grilling.

Did about 35 miles of the "400 mile yard sale" today and spent ten bucks. The wife...quite a bit more than that. :D

I picked up an Uncle Mikes sidekick saw in excellent shape and a CVA Green River knife made in the 70's.
