Morning ladies and gents. Back from Blade. Wow! That was pretty cool. Not exactly what I expected but overall a great experience. Didn't sell out by any means but made enough to cover the trip, table, food, beer, and put a buck or two in my pocket. So, it could of been a hell of a lot worse. Atlanta sure as hell knows who the indiana boys from T.M.Hunt custom knives are now. Met sooooo many cool people I don't even know where to start. Anyway, I will be offering a post Blade "fire" sale on my sub forum for any of you that want or have been patiently awaiting for me to start offering goods again. It will be first come first serve.

Good to be back!

Just keep building that brand, my friend. I sent quite a few folks over to look at your stuff.
Y'all had a great table in a good spot (aisle). And all the hard work is about to really pay off when you sell the rest of your Blade knives.

Anyone making bushcraft Dangler sheaths that will fit the Tradewater, from the inestimable T.M.Hunt ?
The sheath it came with is actually very nice, but I want a sheath on a swivel of some sort, so its can be moved sitting and such to be more comfortable.
If you don't have a T.M. Hunt knife, your missing out.

Nice, Silverthorn! The TW looks to be a great blade.

I don't own a TM Hunt knife, but will soon. Picking up one of the Blade leftovers.

Fit an finish is TIGHT, aaaand I know from experience that you pretty much cant hurt one of Todd's blades.
Besides the knifemaker's challenge, I beat the hell out of a Yuma, and watched other Beckerheads violate the same blade.
After an entire Gather of abuse it still shaved hair. Even the inlay handle was still in perfect condition, battoning and all.
Cant go wrong with one.

Only just received the swabbie, but I had to put it to work...

I wonder if you could have somebody make a drop-loop attached the existing sheath's belt loop with a D-ring.

Just a thought.

I thought about that, But I actually like the height that it rides at currently, I might have to get a sheath made to spec. If I make this sheath a dangler it will drop it at least a few inches in height.

I think it will out chop a nine. It out weighs the 9 by nearly 50%, 1.6lbs vs. 1.05 & it's 1/4 inch thick. All you'd need to do to make it a little better is strip it & grind that top guard off.

Some of y'all met my neighbor and friend at the last Gathering.
So I go over to his place today to show him some of my Blade scores.
He says, "Take a look at this one I just got." And then pulls out a Murray Carter necker in desert ironwood.
Bam. Just like that, he wins. Bastard.

LOL, I'm sure mr. hunts knives are every bit as good as carters if not better, the thing about carter for me is the man behind the blade and his knowledge of blade smithing in general from who/what/when/where/how hes learned..engulfing himself in culture for years.. kinda almost like 'the grasshopper' roaming the world... but not quite :) the art behind it just makes me start salivating :D
