Hey guys! Haven't had anything to post on here in awhile so I've been away. I have zero outdoors time lately, it's all work and driving with family time in between so there hasn't been much Becker activity to speak or really. I miss you guys though! I feel out of the loop :grumpy:

Was a great day at the lake! the kids swam, the wife laid out, and i relaxed in the shade by the water and helped build some sand castles....

I didn't use a knife all day- i did have my bk14 in the car but never needed or wanted to cut anything

Glock 19 and spare mag, P3AT and spare mag, Garmin, fire kit, space pen, Rite in the Rain tablet, handkerchief, first aid kit, Grohmann #2 bird and trout, head lamp, two hanks of paracord, Laplander folding saw, sharpening stone, Fenix flashlight, whistle, signal mirror, Liberty water bottle, I don't remember what else.

Since I made myself that strop, my edges are getting significantly more shiny. I like it. I only strop my blades when they need it so the polishing is going slowly. But I'll get there, but I like the results already. And the sharpness! Damn. I love that strop
 
I am on a ship, working 16-18hr days. Nights, weekends, whatever.
But I have to say... the food is damn good. Not always the case on a working vessel.
 
So, Lake St. Louis is open now if anyone wants to go swimming. I'd say mind the turds in the lake, but that is all that there is in St. Louis.

it takes like a minute to reload this page via satellite while competing for bandwidth with two outgoing HD streams. I expect entertainment!
 
There is currently(for the next 4 hours) a Becker patrol pack floating in the bay. If somebody buys it, I wont have to. Oh and it's my first night back on 3rd shift. Damn, I missed it!

Been on this shift for 6 years. Some days I'm ready for normal people hours and want to find something different, then I remember that there are way more idiots on the road during the day and I go back to being content. I'm a night owl and have a strong dislike for alarm clocks at 6am, so this is a good fit for me.
