nope. :-)
all tech all the time. I really want to learn to run the knuckleboom crane, big winch, and possibly co-pilot one of the vehicles, but that's all luxury time at this point, which I can't afford yet. I did get to operate the ROV arm during checkout back before everything was trucked to the ship. The only heavy machinery I recall operating in my life is a big seismic streamer winch (only briefly, that was cool) and the compactor on the back of a garbage truck when I was 15. Gotta put some more notches on my belt. :-)

We've been in and out of Galveston and Gulfport. The weather has been cooperative, but oppressively humid.

I stopped at a little yard sale over the weekend and picked up an absolutely pristine M-65 ACU field jacket for four bucks. Been looking for a deal on one since mine got lifted a few years ago. Going past Ft. Campbell today and think I'll pick up a liner or two and a hood.

Getting hit by a big storm at the moment. No power, I can't see out my window and I had to get my dad some smokes from his truck. Now I'm all wet and my phone might have some water damage. Great..

Hey fellows! Havnt been around as much lately, still trying to keep my head from spinning from the Blade show. Uh, had a few questions about a specific knife I brought back from there. Thought about keeping it, but with all of the knives I have I probably wouldn't use it. Soooooo, I suppose I'll put it up for sale. This particular knife is the only one of this pattern I have made. I really like it. But its time to send it off to a good home.

So, had a work supper tonight with my old (ex?) boss. Apparently they want me back to work with them. So I'm back to having 2 jobs... This is mixed blessing. It means more knives, more guns, less time to myself, less woods time.

I was able to renegotiate my old rate so I'm making $5 a hour more, and I'm getting more hours so both are good. I've also laid the foundation so that next year I get brought on staff instead of being an independent contractor. So it's good things, just they are long term good things.
 
I love this little honda ex700c generator. I needed to charge my phone and watch the hocky game (not in that order) so far I'm running a 40" TV, a cable box, 2 work lights (it's dark in the garage), and charging my phone and its still going strong. It's awesome. The Mosquitos are starting to piss me off though.
