I lost my entire collection.

Alright, point to Grownstar. Let me amend that to say: "After your Mom cleaned out your blade collection, did she check your browser history and bookmarks also, or no?"

I think I get it. Your mom found out that you have knives, and she took them away/sold them/whatever. Now you're mad at her, and you want compassion.

How old are you? There is quite a crowd of youngsters here on BladeForums. (I'm 13.) I have found that the best way to get your parents to be happy about your collection is to share it with them. Answer their stupid questions about why it opens so fast, why it's that scary shape, etc. etc.

Make sure to buy knives with your own money--that way, you own them, not a parent.

Finally, if your mom/dad doesn't think that you are old enough/mature enough, they're probably right. After all, they know you best!
 
Got drunk, met a heifer at the bar, and everything after that was a blur until you woke up the next afternoon to find your collection missing?

Elaborate and someone might send you a knife to get you started. As of now for all we know, it was because your entire knife collection was stolen and the fuzz confiscated them. Or your guardians locked them all up because they don't feel comfortable leaving sharp objects around you - if something like that's the case, it's going to change the advice or help you get here as opposed to if your collection was stolen or your Mom grounded you and put your knives up until after you bring your grades up.

As it stands I don't know whether to wish you luck on getting your knives back or report you to some kind of watch group :cool:

I've seen a good number of your posts, man. You know a heck of a lot more about knives than I ever did at that age, probably more than I do now haha. If you don't mind me asking, how do you go about saving your cash for knife purchases? I know in some places 13 is a little young to be on the workforce.
 
How much is a quarter pound or pound of pot nowadays? I sense a drug deal gone bad. Was maybe going to trade knives for some good herb but Herb decided he liked your knives and his herb. I sense something very good here if not we can make it a good story, that I promise you.:D

It seems like he's hinting at something along those lines anyway. Might as well push the issue and get it over with. Hopefully OP gives up his motive before our generous friend comes around!
 
Lol no Mom didn't take them. Dad didn't either. They're aware of the hobby but it was my stupidity that lost them.
