I managed to cut myself again, this time with my bk9. (warning grossish pics)

Three pages and nobody made a joke along the lines of "C'mon, tell the truth... you got that finger wound by getting punched in the nose."??????

Anyway, nice job grabbing photos and video for your Beckerhead brethren, it's much appreciated; that's cool as hell. Sorry to see you get this wound, but my perspective is if you're not bleeding occasionally, you're not living. No finger cuts sittin' inside playing Xbox.

It was moosez baby. I only know of the 3 original contests, and they're over, but there may be more to come. As I understand it, kabar did pretty good and sold uh... all of the ZK knives they made the first run pretty quick. Don't quote me on any of that, but I'm pretty sure.

I'm a little worried about this section, it didn't seem to heal up like it should have, so i'll keep a bandaid on it for a little longer so it doesn't get goobers on it.

Just be careful with that finger... The wound is still new enough you could tear it back open pretty easily. I would have told you to leave them in a couple more days simply given the area the wound is, along with the fact it wasn't closed very well to begin with. Plus, that area will get tension put on it from moving your finger.

Damn. The cap'n is HARD. Cutting out your own stitches, geez my wife wont even rip off a bandaid. Good for you. Take it easy tho like medic said, you can easy tear that puppy open again. But, glass half full, you could always start a new thread with those pics :D

I was going to do that but the top stitch was getting irritated and red, this morning it already looks less mad at me. I am still not going to bend my finger much to prevent that area from getting pulled apart, hopefully it heals up soon. I might stick a small amount of super glue over it in a small section so it can still breathe, but it stays held shut.

i removed the stitches in my mouth when i had oral surgery a couple years ago now. that was gross, butthey tickled A LOT.

skip the glue - drying and irritating... rub in some carmex or lip-medex or vitamin E even. wear a glove for a while if you work it.

later, if it's stiff, hot water and exercise... though one of those liquid paraffin are wonderful :)
