I would say the cheapest way might be to have someone grind a wharncliffe blade into one since it's a relatively rare pattern otherwise. I think the grail of butcher style folders is the Randy Doucette Jekel, it's friggin insane!

The Breeden Rescue is a great option , especially for the price

agreed, excellent knife.

How about the Boker Mag. Bulldog..... has the sizes but not the blade curvature of a cleaver

I have modified a Kershaw JYD 2 to have a cleaver-like blade, no pics right now though
I think a similar mod might work on a Boker mini-vnquish

That's a bitchin' blade. I custom ordered a SBW DH to have almost that exact same blade but smaller and a folder. Sniper Bladeworks ftw!

These are Dexter-Russell 7", 8", & 9" Heavy Duty Cleavers. 1/4" thick, Made in America, full width, full tang. Around $40-$50 each. VERY HD. :thumbup: All it took was literally one swipe on each side of the shown Dexter-Russell 14" Butchers steel & they would shave paper & hair.
