I owe a lot of money to a loan snark!

LOL! Yeah, it is pricey!

I think $75 for a Ti Emberlit is ridiculous, much less $250 for an inferior product. Says it supports 10 lbs. I've read about people standing on the Emberlit. Not sure if true or not, I wouldn't wanna take a chance on mine, haha.

News flash:

Eagle Industries has started making Becker Patrol Packs again. In regular and large.

I wonder if I go over there I could see one of them... Considering they are >10 miles from where I live. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. I could take my old BPP for comparison purposes.

I may call first thing in the morning. I've been wanting a large one, but I wasn't willing to pay 'bay pricing.
This, not really willing to pay bay pricing either but I know a few people that need a pack.

Interesting.... I'll be quite tempted to pick one up. My old CFP-90 has the stank so I am in need if a decent pack.
I'm trying to figure out how to get sand and stuff out of my pack.

That's a new one on me Gus. Never seen that one.
Me neither. Cool but not cool enough to pay $250 for one!
I really like the DD cans.
Me too! Especially when paired with ginger curtains.
Sig worthy.

710 how do you like the grip on that Spiderco Bill Moran street beat? I've been looking at those for a little while but its one of those knives that I cant justify the price when I can get a BK11. Awesome gift too! I wish I had more friends that were into knives

Some. Others follow you around like a puppy and want you to pet them. Goats are weird.
There's a gut in downtown Dover (NH) that hangs out on the street with his pet goat, a ram that is usually wearing a hat. I'm not sure who is weirder, the goat or the guy hanging out on a bench with his be-hatted goat.
Damn cool. I'm going to etch my $5 Walmart mugs.

Same thing I do with my etching setup, you can use any DC power source, like an old computer power supply or a cell phone charger, even one of those USB chargers and an old USB cable......
operation vegetable garden is making great progress!

Measured, dug and leveled the plots on sunday for the raised beds, and today i just finished building said raised beds. Tomorrow or the next day i hope to drop the beds into the plots and then fill with soil. Having lots of fun thus far :D
Did you make sure to get the theodolite and the level out? You really should make sure they're perfectly level and evenly spaced, ±0.5" should be good. Make sure you've got them lined up so they're all facing south, too.

At the gym, when I'm not climbing, my shoes aren't on.
I belay barefoot.
I've been to the gym a few times, and I can't wear mine for anything but climbing either. I don't really notice them when I'm climbing, but I still wonder if they should be a little bigger.

Ok, I gotta ask, what's that bottom right hand one. It looks like a bit of a mix of a BK-13 and a 17 with a thumb ramp.
I think it's a Blackjack....but I'm not sure.

I am so honored to have met my Buddy from Guam, I have never really met him in person, I've only spoke to him on the phone and made a couple of sheaths for him. so I get a phone call from him saying he sent me a package and to keep an eye out for it... well I got the package and I found this!!!

I asked him if you want sheaths made for them, he said no they are yours to keep:eek:

Some nice knives. That Spyderco Moran is cool. What's the one above it? Benchmade Bushcrafter? Sweet.

Yeah, but is "up there" $250 or is it $450. That's the question I was wondering.

Who knows.

Does anyone know how big skunk colonies are? I've trapped 4 from under the house in the last week. How many more of these dang things to go before I run out of them?

I should know, but I don't - the skunk is the NH state animal. It overruns the state, and the state runs over it ;).

Well, I didn't get it that precise. No theodolite, but I did tape a level to a 2x4 and got it close as I could. We got decent soaking rain today, so I think I'll have to wait for the ground to dry a tad before I go polish it off. Why the need for such precision? Proper water drainage?
