It happens. :p
to the best of us.
I home schooled/self taught, for about 2 years in high school just because lol... PE for me consisted of long hikes with a 12ga. :D good times. Now that I think about it, I did a lot of those hikes with just a shotgun, a bottle of water, knife, and maybe some binoculars, tons of fun.

I like your style!

I have used a .22 rifle out and about sometimes, but man, a 12ga just covered everything for me back then. However, now a days I typically have my .22/45 pistol, easier to carry and travel with, but its hard to beat a 12ga. Used to shoot mine every day. Ahhh... nostalgia... LOL

The 12GA weighs 2x the 10/22 and the 22 is much cheaper to feed (very appealing to a kid lol)

Okay, just adjusted the settings for 40 posts per page. Am I one of the cool kids now? Who do I send my bribe too? :)

He should be holding a BK9 instead of the umbrella, and a 16 in the other hand perhaps!

Everyone's a critic  Gimme a break, my chopping skills are rudimentary at best. It took me long enough to find a pic of Ethan's noggin at the right angle...

:p

Don't get me wrong, it cracked me up when I saw it. The look on his face is priceless! :D

In on one.

About to drop $250 on parts for the .30-30 I just got... On the other hand, .30-30 ammo is more scarce than I figured.

What did you end up getting? Oddly, 30-30 has been here throughout the last year, even though it's one of the most popular hunting calibers in our state.

in on four...cause you know there will be more!

geez you guys are going thru snark threads like a fat kid with a bag of doritos

In on 2, cause the thing to do.... is change the post count per page to the max of 40. yeah.

Picked up a very nice Marlin 336w a couple weeks ago. Was very tempted to order a Wild West Guns Trigger Happy kit, Bear Proof extractor, and an XS sight/rail combo. Haven't placed the order yet. Thinking maybe I outta put the funds toward some other projects, since I have two guns I can't even shoot right now because they need fixing. Also having second thoughts on the XS rail. I'd like to get a 336y also and run open sights on it so maybe I don't really need sights on the 336w since it's getting a scope.

You guys seen this?

Looks like a very cool and stealthy way to access some more remote areas.

Now you're thinking. Ya got a small lever action 30-30.... It's a user deer/hog gun... Small scope is all you need. It's a 30-30..... I have a Tasco 2.5 on my 336c. It's all I want/need.... As bad as I see these days, a straight 4x would be better.

I love mountain biking and I love this idea. My first question.

If you harvest a larger animal, deer, bear, elk, moose, anything like that. What is the plan for hauling it out? That bike would be a bourdon at that point.
