I think he also knew that somewhere out there, a Badger stopped a bullet for its owner.
Someone recently purchased that knife, but I don't remember all the details.

Heck, they blew up an Ergo for a CSI episode once.

And really, when you get right down to it, isn't Jaxx the ultimate flipper? I mean, the dude bought 27 of those Skeleton Wardens...

A buddy-o-mine is on his local PD Tac Team. The AI (After Incident) investigation is over and the story is now clear to be discussed.

During dynamic entry training he was accidently smacked by one of his team members with a .40, close range. Get this.....he was wearing his favorite Busse (old Badger 5/16") John Wayne Green Beret Style inverted on his vest in an Okuden rig. The .40 smacked the Busse and Okuden Sheath dead center of the blade profile. Ready for the finale.........

The sheath is cracked and I think has a hole from the last time I saw it, but the Badger sustained only slight coating removal, PERIOD!

Probably saved his life (I forgot to ask if he had his armor on), that is rest of the story Paul Harvey and it definitely taint no BS. Can anyone truly love their Busse as much as he must?

I'll get in touch with him and get a pic. He is not a forumite. Just one of the many who specifically demanded an Okuden rig for his biggest knife investment. What a Busse payback eh!

Here it is boys. . . The CSI Knife was a standard black Ergo Steel Heart as well as a Paul's Hatchet as seen in the photo from the set.

We would've let you know sooner, but we weren't sure ourselves!!!

The knife was apparently blown up in the actual final scene of the episode and bears the burn marks to prove it.

The folks at the studio sent along some cool pics from the episode.

What I meant was: Its seems when some particular forum members take heat, waves of members and threads come out in defense, almost crying that said heat should be extinguished. Someone else takes some heat and ribbing over a rather amusing idea, and when he's taken back by all the negativity, he (and the people that shared those feelings) is/are told to stop crying, don't get your panties in a bunch, etc. Especially for a fairly new guy who may not have grasped the nature of things around here.

It goes back to my original statement. What happened to "Its your money, your knife... buy as many or as few as you want and do whatever it is you want to do with them?" Whether it be buying in bulk and flipping or collecting or using or not using or destroying for amusement.

I don't care either way. Haven't taken a side, or even know if sides have been made. Its just an observation. Everyone seems to be saying that "things" have changed around here, but seem to be resistant to figuring out why.

Okay peeps, I'm out of this one. I tried to bring my honest opinion as well as some levity to the thread, but I'll do my part to let it sink. I'm actually surprised it hasn't been locked, but I'm glad it's being allowed to run its course.

The soles came off those shoes. Probably because of the intensity of my vertical leap. Otherwise, they would've gone to Goodwill.

Its pretty clear though that more than just opinions were offered in his thread. Someone went as far as sending him a private message condemning him or something. I personally wouldn't have run off crying.

Hog or not, I've received some pretty friendly and beneficial treatment from a lot of you guys. I happen to think I can run with the best of the a$$ h01es, being one myself, so I really like it around here. Not everyone is the same though.

Actually, technically, nobody has seen any proof of what he says. He won't name someone and if that someone does in fact exist, he/she apparently isn't willing to step forward and clear the air.

I personally find it hard to believe that a simple PM could make someone not only turn tail and run, but also edit their original post to nothing as well. The OP had no problem getting in Skunk's face, yet doesn't apparently have the fortitude to name names. Why not? Maybe it's because that would divert attention away from himself. And that was, IMHO, the reason he posted the thread in the first place--for attention. Also, by not naming the phantom PM'er, he manages to keep everyone here running around in circles nipping at each other's heels. I'm sure he thinks it's probably amusing. (Insert banned smiley here).
