I think it’s time for a McNees thread!

I’m not reporting nothing Blues is hovering over and I’m sure will come to your rescue soon .
I think your well aware of an incident you and I had a while back and you went running to a bashing thread about me to report. Feel free to pm me to refresh your memory.
Until then let’s not derail this thread ..
You are out of line. And you have just received your fifteenth warning or so on this site...and are an inch or two from having your account suspended again.

You cannot link to non-supporting vendors nor announce that non-supporting vendors have a particular knife available. I have warned several folks about that on this and several other sub-forums. None of them have come back and acted like an entitled d-bag as a result. Site supporters pay for the privilege of having their sites linked, and their sales broadcast as long as it doesn't interfere with the discussion forums.

JB has "liked" several of your posts and images here and yet you still try to throw him under the bus, when he has nothing to do with the matter at hand.

Your next smart ass remark will be your last here. Try me.

What is ZirBlast for the unanointed? I got the email as well. Only because I had written an attaboy to Jonathan on the Dixon and I guess he decided to add my email to the list.

It seems like a smooth somewhat dark finish that's similar to stonewashing, best I can tell.

I presume it's supposed to look somewhat like a knife that has zirconium scales (an extremely spendy option, usually).

Zirblast is basically a ceramic media, as opposed to the more common aluminum oxide, glass, or steel media they use in bead blasting.

Zirblast doesn’t have that “sandy” finish that bead blast is known for, and the finished product is much smoother and satin versus matte finish.

Much more resistant to pocket wear than conventional bead blasting, which leaves snail trails if you look at it the wrong way.

Not to namedrop BLADE again, but this year's show was where they debuted the Dixon, and all of the ones on the table were all stonewash Ti slab plain models, and I left thinking they weren't really worth the asking price. It took seeing the Frag model (as well as seeing the anno wash they do on these) to see the value in it. The frag model is the perfect pattern for these, to my eye.
The ano colors are all perfect, too. Half my hesitation is being unable to pick a color!

I think the antique black finish with a satin blade and the frag or hex milling is my favorite.
