I waited quite a while for this one

That was definitely worth waiting for Mr.Long. The hamon is a nice touch on the blade and it has a rich looking stag handle. Appears to be some file work done on the top of the blade. The gator hide sheath with the custom stud from Joe also complements this beauty. I hope his health continues on and we see more of his craftsmanship.

That is the way I like them... full frontal gator. They just get better looking as time goes by and there is nothing to distract you from the look of that gorgeous gator hide. Best looking sheath I've seen in a long time.

That's totally awesome! I like how the retention straps jealously hug the handle so as to say "all mine!"

Glad I could do something for you you have been so kind to me. As always at your service sir.

Special knife, special sheath. I think you topped it off with class, Paul. Well done!

Someone out there has good taste! It has been a pleasure seeing these photos and reading through this process. Very nice and Congratulations!

I actually got a chuckle out of Don's question, ..Who are you going to have make the sheath? :)

Everything turned out beautiful.

Great looking combo. I'm more partial to inlays but that does have an elegant look.

Nice set, hope you bring it to Blade.:D:thumbup: Glad you didn't use any of Paul K's leather;)

Well, I got the custom bronze stud thanks to Joe Paranee and Lester Knight. It turned out just perfect! Im' not quite as thrilled with the sheath. I thought I'd like the full front look of horn back Alligator, but now that it's finished and the stud is comitted (that's a one shot deal), I wish I had done just a gator inlay instead of the full front. The alligator is very dark brown, not black and the sheath features the "Garsson Toe"

I really like the full gator as it's a nice change-up from the norm. I give up, what's the "Garsson Toe" ?

Congrats on the Ankrom set.
