I want a Becker BK10 BAAAAAAAAD!

So I browsing Ebay finally found one and I was about to pay 190 for the dog gone thing and I got outbid. :mad: Can anyone tell me how I can get my hands on a Becker BK10? I want one so bad I bought another BK2 to hold me over. Now I have 2 BK2's, a BK7, a BK9, BK11, the BK11 San Mai, and the BK13...without their 2nd cousin twice removed BK10...
 
WHOOOAAAAAAA THERE KILLER!!! $190 for a $60 knife? Well, if that's what you want I won't agrue, but have you tried the exchange here, Want to Buy forum? I just think thats a bit much, perhaps your quest will finally bear fruit, oh, there is going to be a BK10 Beckerhead forum knife in the future, but you might not be interested in that. Naw, not in that, forget I even mentioned it.

Seriously, look into becoming a Beckerhead. You might have a shot at a BK-10 forum knife eventually.

Yeap still new to the forum and figuring eveyrthing out. I'm looking into becoming a Beckerhead. What does that entail if you don't mind me asking? Anything but my left pinky...although for a BK10...I'll consider it. I plan on getting the whole family (BK3, BK5 and the Eskabar) but I'll have to search the threads to see if I can get the credentials of becoming a Beckerhead. BTW love reading your posts Moose.

This is the main reason I began the journey to beckerhead ism.

And cause I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself.

Get you a fat chick, and start laying in the rolls, that's how I became part of something bigger than myself. She was huge. So, I married her.

Ok...if you could please clarify what does "25 posts of value" mean. Maybe my "engrish" is not too good. Did I mention I've made all my knife purchases with a 100lbs of gold? No? Might be the wrong Raizo...maybe a cousin of mine. I'll be emailing the beckerhead request soon. I don't have that many posts up yet but I'll get there. If my ninja training taught me anything it was focus and determination...

Obviously, you haven't gotten to Step 4 where you have to email Moose a picture of your man boobs.
It made me feel a little bit awkward, but I did it anyway.
Step 6, however, REALLY made me uncomfortable.

I got lucky and did a pretty equal trade for one that was practically new, right here in the trade section. Post in the Knives Wanted to Buy section, and peruse the for sale section. Good luck in your quest, it's my favorite Becker. :thumbup:

Thanks for all the advice. Taking it all to heart and I have posted in the Want to Buy section. Am I coming across too desperate? I sound needy don't I?

I honestly don't know if the BK-10 project has top-shelf approval.
Other folks on the inside track can say more than me, but there's been talk here and there about the project, and the Crewman comes up consistently as THE knife.
Be a shame to waste all those lovely blanks, wouldn't it?
 
It would be a HUGE shame! I really like the BK10 but I'm sure not paying Epray prices for one. I really hope the forum knife takes off. I can't think of a better way to get one.
