I want a Becker BK10 BAAAAAAAAD!

RaizoT have you checked the Trade Knives and Tool section , there was a BK10 on there a couple of hours ago.
 
Sorry to hear there all gone RaizoT, i know what thats like chasing that elusive knife, hang in there you'll get one.

You said "quest" so I guess that makes the BK10 his "grail". Congratulations, your life now has meaning and purpose, Sir Percival. I've been thinking about picking one up too, but I need to slow down on my knife purchases.

While you're waiting to find a BK10, you can also look into the Ritter RSK Mk2. Kind of a pointier BK10. I don't know if they are still taking preorders on the limted edition knives and no word on when the production ones will be for sale. So, you might get the BK10 first anyway.

Im getting confused...

Early last year sometime I could've sworn that Tooj said the BK10 was coming back into production in the near future. Now is it just a limited run for Beckerheads?

they got some blanks from Camillus at auction, pre-cut, not heat treated, sharpened, gussied up, or anything. they need to move that stock, but it's not a LOT of them... there's potential for many/most to become Beckerhead fodder.

as for making for in the future with KaBar's special attention? well, that might be way down the line yet. just a guess. i mean, there's a couple other models waiting to come to life, and that's LATE 2011 at best...
 
Now that the Beckerheads have passed the big 5-0, at some point, I fear we're going to have to start the forum knife death chat...

E bay has 3 auctions going now for BK 10's, one of them is the coveted desert model.
 
I saw that but I don't know if I want to pay 195 for it. Luckily my post in Want to buy has come up with a BK10. Soon I will be a proud owner of one:). Thanks for all the advice guys. I will be sure to post my pictures up soon. Once of course I get the coveted title of BeckerHead :rolleyes:
 
Luck has everything to do with it, I got my desert for 40 two years ago, out of nowhere there it was laying in a surplus shops display case.
